Cupuaçu butter is extracted from the seeds of the fruit of the cupuaçu tree, which grows in the Amazon rainforest. It’s a rich source of antioxidants, phytosterols and moisturising fatty acids. Compared to cocoa and shea butters, it’s softer, creamier and highly moisturising. It can bind to as much as 450% of its own weight in water, which is 200% more than lanolin and 161% more than shea butter.*
