Skin-identical concentrate of ceramides: I, III and VI

Ceramides are intercellular lipids naturally present in the corneal layer of the epidermis. Together with skin cells (corneocytes), they create a protective layer that prevents excessive transepidermal water loss and protect the skin against UV rays, pollutants, microorganisms and other external factors. If we compare skin cells and ceramides to bricks and cement, the skin cells are the bricks and the ceramides are the cement. The ceramides keep the skin cells together and in this way contribute significantly to the healthy barrier function of the skin.

Unfortunately the quantity of the skin’s own ceramides falls with age. As a consequence, the skin becomes increasingly dry and sensitive and starts to age more quickly. Apply the cream every morning to the thoroughly cleansed and toned skin of the face, neck and décolletage. For best results, we advise using in combination with CERAMIDES RICH Night Cream for face, neck and décolletage.

In the case of combination to oily skin, we also advise the use of Day Cream for night care (if Night Cream is too nourishing or too “heavy” for your skin).
