Dipeptide carnosine

Squalane

Squalane is a derivative of squalene – a natural component of the sebum in our skin, the production of which decreases with age. It is produced from natural plant sources and has a highly hydrating effect. Because it is recognised by the skin as “its own”, it absorbs extremely well and leaves no oily residue. It also improves the transfer of other active ingredients into the skin. It’s non-comedogenic, which makes it ideal for all skin types, including combination to oily skin.  It protects the skin against harmful environmental factors, strengthens its natural protective barrier and has a calming effect.

100% natural, unrefined cupuacu butter from Brazil

Cupuacu butter is extracted from the seeds of the fruit of the Cupuacu tree, which grows in the Amazon rainforest. It is a rich source of antioxidants, phytosterols and moisturising fatty acids. Compared to cocoa and shea butters, it’s softer, creamier and highly moisturising. It can bind to as much as 450% of its own weight in water, which is 200% more than lanolin and 161% more than shea butter.*
It strengthens the skin's natural hydro-lipid layer, with a highly nurturing and regenerating effect. It’s also an effective plant-based alternative to lanolin due to its exceptional moisture-retaining properties.

• Apply 2 ml (= length of thumb and middle finger) of the cream to thoroughly cleansed and toned skin. We recommend daily use throughout the year.
• If necessary, apply your chosen Afrodita Professional serum/beauty shot before the cream.
• Be sure to reapply consistently.
• Follow the usual instructions for safe exposure to the sun.
• Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product comes into contact with your eyes, then immediately rinse them well.
• Avoid contact with textiles and hard surfaces, as the product may stain them.

We advise using the Lifting Cream SPF 50 all year round, even in winter and on cloudy days.

UVA rays are equally intense throughout the year and throughout the day. They make up as much as 95% of all UV rays, and even go through glass. They are the main cause of premature skin ageing. They penetrate the dermis, damage fibroblasts, collagen and elastic fibres, and the DNA of skin cells.
