With a high SPF of 30, it reliably protects the skin against UVA + UVB + IR rays and blue light. Helps prevent photoageing, the formation of pigmentation marks and DNA damage to skin cells.

0.1% Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR)

HPR is a newcomer to the retinoid family, which has an effect similar to that of retinol, but with fewer or even none of its side effects. Causing much less irritation, it works fast and with impressive results. It is also more stable – it does not oxidise over time and remains highly effective.

It accelerates the natural process of skin cell regeneration and increases the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. This improves the quality of the dermis, increases the thickness of the epidermis and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier. Wrinkles are significantly reduced, and the skin tone is visibly improved. It also balances excessive secretion of sebum, reduces enlarged pores and alleviates the formation of new spots.

Skin-identical concentrate of ceramides: I, III and VI

Ceramides are natural building blocks of the skin’s protective barrier that help prevent excessive transepidermal water loss and protect the skin against UV rays, pollutants, microorganisms and other environmental factors. Being skin-identical ingredients, ceramides are suitable for the care of all types of skin, including the most sensitive, and are essential for dry, very dry and mature skin.

Squalane

Squalane is a derivative of squalene – a natural component of the sebum in our skin, the production of which decreases with age. It is produced from natural plant sources and has a highly hydrating effect. It absorbs extremely well into the skin and leaves no oily residue. It is non-comedogenic, which makes it ideal for all skin types, including combination to oily skin. It protects the skin against harmful external factors, strengthens its natural lipid barrier and has a calming effect.

Beta-glucan

Produced from oats, this polysaccharide acts as a powerful stimulant of skin cell renewal. It stimulates cell division and the regeneration of damaged cells. It also has a moisturising effect and helps prevent skin dryness. In medicine, it is used to heal wounds and smooth scars.

Hydra complex, identical to skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF)

It has an instant and prolonged moisturising effect that can last for hours after application. As part of the hydro-lipid layer, it strengthens the skin’s natural protective function and helps prevent dryness.

Effective combination of UVA and UVB filters

It guarantees a high level of skin protection against the action of harmful UV rays. It protects the skin against sunburn and helps prevent photoageing, the formation of pigmentation marks and DNA damage to skin cells.

Pentapeptide-59

It is a biomimetic peptide (identical to the skin's own peptides) that significantly reduces the reaction of the skin’s hyper-reactive receptors’ to stressors. In the long term, it improves skin tolerance and reduces skin sensitivity.

• The NEXT GENEREATION RETINOL SHOT is intended solely for evening care. Apply it 1 to 4 times a week, strictly following the warnings and instructions for use below.

Apply 2 ml (5 to 6 pumps) as the final step in your morning skin care routine: after applying your care products of choice and before applying make-up. Be sure to reapply consistently.  NEXT GENERATION RETINOL SHOT 

 WARNINGS 

• Use the product only on healthy, undamaged skin.

• Slight to moderate redness, tingling, a sensation of warmth and temporarily increased skin sensitivity are expected reactions that indicate the retinoid is working.

• The product is not suitable:
• during pregnancy and breastfeeding or while taking food supplements/medicines that contain other retinoids;
• for very sensitive skin, thin skin and skin with a weakened protective barrier;
• in the event of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and other skin conditions;
• during greater sun exposure (during a summer vacation or by people who perform most of their work outside, in the sun).
• After use, the condition of oily, impure skin may at first get worse – this is a normal reaction and results from intensive skin cleansing, which leads to the desired results upon further product use.

 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 

Hypersensitivity test

Do the hypersensitivity test before beginning to use the product. Apply a small amount of the product to the clean skin on the inner side of your forearm. If no unexpected reactions occur within 24 hours, you may begin using the product. Otherwise – in the event of extremely bright redness, itchiness, tingling, stinging sensations and/or raised skin bumps – immediately rinse the product off and do not use it.

Gradual introduction to the care routine

• Introduce the product into your care routine gradually so that the skin can get used to it and develop a good tolerance.

Weeks 1 and 2
Begin using the product twice weekly.

Weeks 3 and 4
If the skin appears to tolerate the product well, you may begin using it 3 times a week.

Week 5 and thereafter
If the skin tolerates the product well, you may use it 4 times a week.
In the long run, use the product as often (1 to 4 times a week) as it suits your skin, provided it tolerates it without any unwanted side effects.

• In the event of intense reactions (intense redness, stinging sensation, tingling, significantly increased skin sensitivity, peeling), either stop using the product or use it less frequently (e.g., go from using it 3 times a week to 2 times a week, and continue this regime until your skin gets used to the product).

Amount for one application

When it comes to using retinoids, the “less is more” rule applies. Use only around 1 full dropper of the product for 1 application on your face.

Only evening care, from September to May

The use of retinoids can cause temporarily increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight. The product is therefore only suitable for evening care. We recommend using it from September to May. Apply the product to the thoroughly cleansed and toned skin of the face. Never apply it in the morning and/or during the day. We advise against using the product in the summer months.

Mandatory UV protection

While using the product and for at least 3 weeks after use, be sure to protect your skin during the day with the Protective Fluid with Peptides SPF 30. Apply 2 ml (5 to 6 pumps) as the final step in your morning skin care routine: after applying your care products of choice and before applying make-up. Be sure to reapply consistently. Follow instructions for safe exposure to the sun.

Areas to which the product shouldn’t be applied

Do not apply the product around the eyes, lips and nose. Protect these parts with a nourishing, occlusive cream of your choice as necessary (for users just starting with the cream and users with sensitive skin).

Consistent use

The product provides optimal results only if used in line with the instructions and over an extended period of time, for at least 3 months.

Suitable supporting care

• Skin treated with retinoids needs intensive moisturising care that strengthens and protects its natural barrier.
• After the evening application of the product, do not apply other products on your skin as part of the same care routine. In the meantime, for daily morning and evening care when you don’t apply the retinoid, nurture your skin with intensive moisturising and regenerative products.

Inadvisable combinations

• Do not use the product in combination with other retinoids or other powerful active ingredients: AHA and BHA acids, vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid)*.
• Do not use any peels/scrubs while using the product.

The UVA rays are equally intense throughout the year and throughout the day. They make up as much as 95% of all UV rays, and even go through glass. They are the main cause of premature skin ageing.
